Dr. GD Agrawal was born on May 6th, 1947 at Indore.
Dr. G.D Agrawal graduated from College of Dentistry, Indore in-.1969. After working as House Surgeon in the same college, he joined M.P State Government services on Jun 26th, 1970 at Jai Prakash Hospital, Bhopal and later on at Gandhi Medical College, 
Bhopal upto 1985.
He became Head of Department of the Dentistry in Gandhi Medical College Bhopal from 1985. He took voluntary retirement in 1995.
During the course of last thirty eight years, he must have treated over 10 1akh patients suffering from dental diseases. Any human being, whosoever occupied his dental chair, would get the same high quality of treatment, irrespective of his rank, monetary status, caste or creed. His cliental included the High and the Mighty, so also the poor. He has been an Honorary Dental Surgeon to all the Governors of Madhya Pradesh State starting from Dr Satyan Narain Sinha to till date.
He has been awarded Fellowship of Pierre Fauchard Academy of USA , Fellow of International College of Dentist of USA (FICD). Recently he has been honored with prestigious Fellowship of International College of Continuing Dental Education at Asian Pacific Dental Congress held in Jakarta in 2007 and Member of American Dental Association.
He has been nominated by State Government as Member Dental Council of India from December 2000.
He started his activities in IDA from 1964 as student member of IDA. He has been Founder Secretary of the Indian Dental Association (Bhopal branch) in the year 1971 and became the President of the I.D.A (State Branch) in the year 1983-1984 and National Vice President I.D.A in the year 2006-2007.
He has been an Organizing Chairman of MP State Dental Conferences three times. He published a number of Scientific Papers in International and National Journals. He is one of the most senior of Central Council of Members of I.D.A.
He attended more than 25 National and International Conferences and traveled to more than 35 countries on professional and study tour and visited many dental institutions in India and abroad.
Dr. G.D Agrawal is still rendering his outstanding services to hundreds of patients with untiring stamina which shows his dedication towards his duty. Dr. GD Agrawal has been honored with LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD by Indian Dental Association MP State Branch considering his contribution towards dentistry during the last 37 years. This award was given by His Excellency, Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
